Charming and original, The Clockmaker’s House sits snuggled into the centre of a peaceful conservation area. Its quaint but tiny frontage with its 17th century doorway and beautiful bow window, hides a wealth of unusual rooms, spacious and quirky, and with beams a plenty.
We are keen for you to love our home as much as we do, so we have aimed for high standards throughout. The rooms are furnished and decorated individually to reflect the character of the house.
"Booked for 2 nights ahead of our daughters wedding. Comfortable stay and excellent cooked breakfasts. Mike and Sally even made extra bacon butties for the bridal party on the day of the wedding. Overall can highly recommend as a B&B."

"Have visited the Clockmakers many times and have never been disappointed. The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Good quality lines and huge bath towels. Fabulous cooked breakfast cooked to order. Will definitely return. Great value too!"

"If you are planning a visit to this area do yourselves a favour and book this little gem. The host Mike was very welcoming and accomodating. The room was lovely, very quaint and an extremely comfortable bed. Unusually for older properties the shower was powerful too. There is a lovely breakfast room and the homemade granola was amazing. I cannot recommend it highly enough."
